It is Katrina Kaif over Kareena Kapoor for Imran Khan

In Bollywood, two actresses can apparently never be friends. And if two of the industry’s top heroines are working with the same actor, there are bound to be comparisons — especially if the heroines in question are not exactly BFFs. And the actor to be stuck in the above situation is none other than Imran Khan.

The young Khan is working with actress Kareena Kapoor (in Short Term Shaadi) and actress Katrina Kaif, who’s also the rumoured ex-girlfriend of one of his close actor buddies Ranbir Kapoor (in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan).

It’s but natural to wonder who Khan had more fun shooting with. Throw this question at Khan and he doesn’t bat an eyelid before saying, “That would be Katrina for sure. The fun quotient was definitely more with Katrina.” But there’s a catch which you realise when you get past the cheekiness.

The actor, known to be outspoken, adds that he’s extremely fond of Kareena as well. “Kareena is one of my favourite actors. I’ve been a huge fan of hers for the longest time,” says Khan. “I’ve always been a little shy and quiet around Kareena — when I see her, I just remember all the films I’ve seen and adored her in. So I’m always on my good behaviour when she’s around,” he laughs.

So what is it that makes Khan bond so well with Kaif? He says that it helps that they are of about the same age, which is why, he can “just chill with her, like two friends. We are like buddies on the set. But with Kareena, I get tongue-tied.”

My Favourite scene: Katrina Kaif

I don't think any other scene would come close to being as tough as my speech in Prakash Jha's Raajneeti. Gosh, it still gives me goose bumps!

The scene was shot in Bhopal. Although it was done in two takes, it just wasn't an easy one to execute. I think there were at least three reasons why that scene was so mushkil. But before that, let me tell you that it was not difficult because I had to wear a saree for that scene.

I have been seen in glam outfits on screen, but honestly, I am far more comfortable in a saree than in any other attire. Now back to the three reasons:

One, I had to narrate a speech in front of nearly 5,000 people. Think about giving a speech in front of 100 people and your hands would tremble.

Two, my character in the film had to vent all her emotions in that scene.

Three, that scene was the climax of the film. Hence, it had to be done in such a way that it not only creates an impact, but also, leaves a lasting impression as well. It was a very crucial scene wherein I had to take utmost care that I neither underplay it nor go over the top.

A tough scene is generally not a song or a dance. The biggest challenge for an actor is when he or she is asked to portray a gamut of emotions in one scene.

Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif Headlining Film Directed by Yash Chopra Delayed

May 01, 2011, (Sawf News) - Yash Chopra's directorial comeback headlining Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif has been postponed, a source tells Sawfnews.com exclusively.

The film being produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) has been delayed because of Shah Rukh's current involvement with his IPL team, which is deeper than during the earlier three season. Shah Rukh (SRK) will later get busy with promoting his home production RA.One, a film that he is heavily invested in financially and emotionally, which releases in theaters on October 26.

After the release of RA.One, SRK is expected to stay busy with promotions of Don 2, which is slotted for release on December 23.

"The shoot for the YRF film will most probably start on December 15," says our source.

"Besides giving SRK plenty of time to wrap his current commitments, in numerology 15 is equal to 6 (1 + 5 = 6), which YRF considers lucky for its production house," the source adds.

Yash Raj Films, however, refuses to comment on the delay, which is eminently understandable since they have yet to officially announce the film!
